One of the most significant events in the world medicine - XVIII International AIDS Conference (International AIDS Society), will be held on July 18-23, 2010 in Vienna (Austria).  The expected number of participants is over 20 000!  This is the most important forum for all HIV/AIDS specialists, political leaders, public persons and people living with HIV.  The current situation in this field, topical issues of the epidemic, the latest scientific achievements and practical experience, as well as joint action plan will be discussed at the Conference.  Sessions of different format: thesis meetings, symposiums, TV and video conferences will be held in the framework of this forum. At this Conference Ukraine will present the results and prospects of the national informative campaign “Do not Give Any Chance to AIDS!”.  This all-Ukrainian program was initiated by the Committee on Fight against HIV/AIDS and Other Socially Dangerous Diseases under the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, and German Society of Technical Cooperation (GTZ - Deutsche Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit) in the framework of implementation of the project “German-Ukrainian Partnership Initiative to Respond to HIV/AIDS”. Delta Medical, as socially responsible company with wide experience of work in such projects, together with other Ukrainian organizations has willingly supported this initiative.  Due to such cooperation, were printed and placed in many cities of Ukraine informative materials “Do not Give Any Chance to AIDS!”: 27 billboards, 1000 city-lights, 300 light-boxes in metro and 45 000 posters.  We sincerely hope that this has helped Ukrainians to start thinking about the reality of HIV/AIDS in the life of every person and about elementary precautionary measures.
